Hyderabad: A man was allegedly murdered by three people over financial issues in Balanagar in Hyderabad, on Tuesday. The deceased was identified as K Sudershan Rao (53) who is into dye-manufacturing.

According to the police, Sudarshan Rao borrowed Rs 55,000 from one of the accused Venkatesh Mudiraj and Rs 30,000 from Narsing Rao. The duo started harassing him when he couldn't repay the amount on time.

B Kishan Kumar, Balanagar inspector of police said, "On Tuesday around 8 pm, Sudarshan Rao was asked to come to a workshop at Balanagar to discuss the matter. During the discussion, an argument broke out between the three and in a fit of rage, the accused hit Sudarshan on his chest and fled from the site.

The locals shifted him to the hospital but he was declared brought dead. The Balanagar police registered a case under section IPC 302 (Punishment of murder) and also filed a case under SC/ST Atrocities Act on the three. Further probe is underway.

After post mortem at Gandhi Hospital, the body was handed over to the family members. A hunt is on to nab the criminals who are absconding.
