Depressed Over Hair Loss, Girl Ends Life

Yashvanthapura: Depressed over hair loss, a girl committed suicide. Neha Gangamma (18) from Kottigeri, Virajapeta was pursuing BBA. She wanted her hair to be curly and went in for a treatment at a beauty parlour.

However, the hair treatment failed and led to heavy hair loss. Within six months, she lost all the hair and went bald. She felt embarassed to attend college and dropped out.

She left home one week back and her dead body was found at Lakshmana Teertha. The police suspect that she committed suicide due to her hair loss. They have filed a case of unnatural death and started probing the matter.
