Botsa Questions Cash Dispensation at Futures Group

Hyderabad: YSR Congress Party senior leader Botsa Satyanarayana on Monday questioned the Union Government on the legality of dispensing cash to public at the Future group stores, in which Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu has 3.65% stake, though there are public sector banks and ATMs.

He said that the anti-demonetization hartal, organized by YSRCP, has got public support and appealed to the Government to take people's opinion into consideration. He wanted the Government to withdraw the decision of demonetising Rs.500 and Rs.1,000 notes.

Botsa spoke to the media at the party office and said that Chandrababu's Government is encouraging the police to resort to highhandedness on YSRCP leaders. He asked AP Government to spell out it's attitude on the cash crunch in the state and said that opposition leaders are not even given an opportunity to organise peaceful protests.
