Boddu's win shocks TDP, Varada Reddy makes TRS jittery

In a big blow to TDP, Chandrababu Naidu's candidate lost the MLC elections in graduates' constituency in Guntur and Krishna districts.

TRS supremo K Chandrasekhara Rao also got a shocker after a member from his party too suffered a loss in the polls.

Interestingly, CPM-backed Boddu Nageswara Rao won as MLC from the graduates' constituency in Guntur and Krishna districts with a huge margin. Boddu won over TDP’s Chigurupati Vara Prasad by a margin of 11,335 votes.

It is also worth mentioning here that TRS-backed T Swamy Goud won as MLC from the graduates' constituency comprising Medak, Karimnagar, Nizamabad and Adilabad districts with a huge margin, while another TRS candidate A Varada Reddy teachers' constituency for Nalgonda, Khammam and Warangal districts suffered a defeat in the MLC elections.
