Black balloons to greet PM in air!

A novel form of protest will ensure that Prime Minister Manmohan Singh will not be allowed to ignore the Telangana issue, even if he descends from the high heavens.

Black balloons are likely to greet the PM in the air as his chopper lands and takes off in the state capital, highlighting the T-problem in a unique fashion.

The Telangana Joint Action committee chairman, Prof. Kodandaram sought people's support to protest against the PM at their respective places. In the wake of Singh's visit to Hyderabad for the CoP-11 summit, the TJAC chairman today said they would conduct statewide protests tomorrow.

Kodandaram also urged the people of Telangana to fly black balloons, black flags and wear black badges. Though the PM will be in the city only for three hours, the arrangements being made by the police are on an unprecedented scale.

However, it's a wait and watch game for all since no one quite knows whether the PM will encounter any black flags or protests by the Telangana activists.
