Balakrishna, 2nd power centre in TDP?

Film hero Balakrishna is slowly becoming a power centre in the Telugu Desam party when his brother-in-law and party president Chandrababu Naidu is busy with his "vastunna mee kosam" padayatra touring across the state.

The party leaders are making a beeline to the house of Balakrishna on the Road No 44, Jubilee Hills in the city. The residence of Balakrishna is abuzz with  politicians especially women. The demand for his active participation is gaining momentum in the recent times in view of the local polls. While Babu is in the hectic schedule of his walkathon, there is none to hear the voice of party activists.

 There are hundreds of ticket aspirators for the posts in zilla parishads, mandal parishads, corporations, municipalities and panchayats across the State. Believing that Balakrishna has his own influence, the party leaders are placing proposals before  him for tickets in the local body polls. 

Desam party senior leaders, however, ruled out the reports of second power centre, but did not deny the increasing number of visitors at the Balakrishn's house.
