AP Farmers Launch Brand of Modi Tomatoes

Amaravati: At a time when the election season is heating up, the tomato farmers in Andhra Pradesh kick-started a new trend of branding their tomatoes

. In an innovative approach, the farmers are wrapping up tomatoes with plastic moulds including Prime Minister Narendra Modi's name. As a result, the letters are seen branded on the tomatoes.

In the shape of a heart with letters 'Modi', the ‘Modi Tomato’ is reportedly garnering a lot of demand in the market.

An agro producer, Janardhan Chowdary Jampala and an enterprising farmer from Madanapalle in Chittoor district teamed up to deliver these specialized tomatoes.

Recently in Varanasi, these Modi Tomatoes were sold out after Prime Minister Narendra Modi campaigned in his constituency.
