Two Killed As Bus Overturns On Nawabpet Highway

Krishna: A road accident took place on Nawabpet National Highway in the Penuganchiprolu Mandal of the district. As per the details, the incident occurred when a bus belonging to TSRTC overturned.

The bus was heading from Nirmal to Ongole when the bus driver lost control of the vehicle resulting in the mishap.

Two people died on the spot and eight others sustained serious injuries in the incident. The injured were admitted to the Nandigama government hospital. According to the passengers travelling in the bus, the bus driver’s negligence caused the accident.

The police are investigating the incident. Further details are awaited.
