Maverick filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma took a sharp jibe at TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu comparing the political crisis TDP finds itself in today to what NTR faced in his time. RGV pointed out that history keeps repeating itself and while Nadendla Bhaskara Rao backstabbed NTR when he was abroad, TDP leaders repeated this when Chandrababu went abroad stabbing him in the back. In another tweet, RGV also stated that while NTR had given birth to TDP, Chandrababu Naidu had killed it. Have a look at his tweets....

It may be recalled that in a sudden political development, four Rajya Sabha MPs belonging to the TDP, Sujana Chowdary, CM Ramesh, Garikapati Mohan Rao and TG Venkatesh switched over to the BJP. The party president JP Nadda admitted them into saffron party and the official website of the Rajya Sabha now shows them as BJP MPs.
