Tirupati Central: The district of Tirupati is witnessing a shift in party loyalties ever since the poll notification was announced.

YSR Congress Party Chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy who had walked through the length and breadth of Andhra Pradesh during the course of his historic walkathon, Praja Sankalpa Yatra had made an indelible mark on people's minds.

The YSR Congress Party President who covered 134 constituencies in the state as part of his Padayatra, his public meetings and close interactions with people and organisations from all walks of life and trying to understand theirs problems at the ground level , had brought him even more into the public fore.

YSRCP's Navaratnalu, which cover solutions over a broad spectrum of issues and the party General Secretary Bhumana Nagi Reddy who has been on a mission of getting people closer to the party, have borne fruits in the temple town.

YSRCP Youth wing member Bhumana Abhinay has been exhibiting exemplary leadership skills and attracting the younger generation into the party there as well.

People have been leaning towards YSRCP to an extent that TDP and Congress hardliners are jumping into the YSRCP bandwagon. The Balija , Kapu, Yadav and BC community are also joining the party especially after YS Jagan's speech at the BC Garjana held in Kakinada.

Reports say that in a span of one week the second level party cadre from the TDP and Congress could completely cross over to the YSRCP, it is said.

Congress leader and former councillor Mudra Narayana and Duddela Babu who represent the Kapu and Balija community are already with the YSRCP.

A senior educationist K M Krishnayya's grandson K M K Kiran Rayal , NV Suresh,Chandu Rayal , C Venkatesh, Tirumalayya, Rohith, Giri, Mani and other local leaders joined the YSR Congress party.

Women leaders who were initially with the TDP like Padma, Anasuya, Aruna, Radha Madhavi, Madhubala, Vijayalakshmi have also left the TDP stronghold and joined the YRSCP.

Kapu Welfare leader Pokala Ashok has given his assurance that he would work for the party in the coming elections.

TDP has been badly hit with Yadav community which is led by former Congress ex Councillor Kamati Varadarajulu who along with other members for the Yadav community have joined the YSRCP recently.

The Yadav community have been bearing a grudge for quite some time as they have been sidelined by the TDP and this was something that never happened before since the TDPs formation .

Important leaders who were working closely with the TDP like Acharya NG Ranga Agricultural University board member Murali Reddy, TDP state level leader Laddu Bhaskar Reddy, Ex Councillor and BC leader Vijayalakshmi have joined the YSRCP and further strengthened its base in the Tirupathi.
