Andhra Pradesh Deputy chief minister and home minister Chinarajappa admitted that the state government was accountable for murder attack on AP Leader of Opposition, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy in the VIP lounge of Visakhapatnam airport on October 25. Speaking to reporters, Chinarajappa gave evasive responses when asked whether the inquiry would be handed over to the Central government. To a pointed question on the state government's response to turning over the probe to the central agencies, the TDP minister replied that whether it is the state government or the centre, the final responsibility of coming out with the facts lay with the AP government. He tried to give a different spin to AP chief minister Chandrababu Naidu's statement that the AP government had nothing to do with the incident because it took place in an area under the Centre's jurisdiction (CISF). The Deputy CM struggled to explain that the chief minister had only said that the area was under the Centre's purview and never claimed that it was not the state government's responsibility to probe the incident, quite contrary to what the chief minister had tweeted several hours after the incident.

Here is a look at Chandrababu's tweet, never mind Chinarajappa's spin!
