TDP Infighting Reaches Amaravati

Amaravati: The heat of TDP infighting is searing Amaravati now. The rift between TDP leaders in Kurnool has now reached the state capital. For some time Banganapalle MLA BC Janardhan Reddy has been expressing his displeasure over the functioning of minister Akhila Priya and MLA Bhuma Brahmananda Reddy. It is also reported that the MLA has complained about the two leaders to state Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu. The leaders have been called for a meeting with TDP chief at Amaravati today.

It is learnt that AP CM was concerned about solving the issues with the TDP leaders in Kurnool district and also strengthening the party in the district. Towards this, he would be meeting Akhila Priya and Janardhan Reddy and discuss the issues. It is reported that MLA Janardhan Reddy stayed away from Mahanadu, Mini Mahanadu and CM's Kurnool tour because he was unhappy with the minister and another MLAs functioning. In fact he had met, on earlier occasion, Chandrababu and complained about the two leaders.

Earlier minister Akhila Priya had a confrontation with senior leader AV Subba Reddy and the CM had to intervene to settle the matter.
