Always fighting, but KCR, CBN united over Singapore

They may be fighting among themselves over every other issue, but Telangana chief minister KCR and AP CM Chandrababu are united over one thing.

That is Singapore's role in developing their respective state.

Chandrababu Naidu says the Government of Singapore is keen to work with Andhra Pradesh in infrastructural, industrial and capital city development efforts.

The delegation, led by former Prime Minister of Singapore, Goh Chok Tong, called on Chandrababu to learn about the state's plan on ports, airports, highways and industrial nodes in Vizag-Chennai and Chennai-Bangalore Industrial Corridors, petrochemical corridor, smart cities and tourism promotion. The delegation also extended an invitation to the chief minister to visit Singapore.

Meanwhile, Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao sought Singapore's help in reconstruction of the newly-created state.

KCR met Singapore's former prime minister Goh Chok Tong.

KCR said Telangana has an investment and industry-friendly government and it is evolving policies in various sectors. They agreed to meet again to discuss and finalise the joint programmes Telangana and Singapore will undertake.
