Agnyaathavaasi Rakes In 100 Crores Overseas

Power star Pawan Kalyan hasn't had the best of seasons over the past three years. Pawan's Sardaar Gabbar Singh and Katamarayudu failed miserably at the box office.

Last week, Agnyaathavaasi which was released on January 10th amidst a lot of talk of plagiarised content and uncanny similarity to a French film, Largo Winch. Though it was released amidst great fanfare, it has not been a box office success in the domestic market.

Agnyaathavaasi is faring well at the overseas box office despite all the hurdles in its path. The grapevine has it that the film has grossed Rs 100 Cr at the foreign box office just in seven days. This piece of news should warm the hearts of Pawan's fans.

Directed by Trivikram Srinivas, the magic of Attarintiki Daredi could not be replicated and the film lost steam in its early days. Its overseas run has been something of a consolation to its makers, though.
