Achche Din again for BJP

* Exit polls predict BJP sweep in Jharkhand

* Hung assembly in J and K, PDP to be the largest party.
* Another survey puts BJP ahead in Delhi
* Washout for Congress in the offing, say exit polls

Achhe Din, it appears, have come for the BJP. The party is going to win Jharkhand hands down and the Congress is in for a mauling, according to the India Today -Cicero Post Poll survey.

The survey gives 41-49 seats for the BJP and the Congress just 7-11 seats. According to the post poll survey, this could be a big swing for the BJP, which won 23 seats in the last Assembly elections in 2009, and a big loss for the Congress that won 21 seats.
The Jharkhand Mukti Morcha is likely to bag 15-19 seats. Independents and others would win between 8-12 seats. This means the party would form the next government in Jharkhand easily.
The results of the 81 member Jharkhand assembly will be declared on December 23.
ABP Neilson has predicted that the BJP would win up to 52 seats in Jharkhand. The C-Voter too predicts that the BJP is poised for impressive performance in Jammu Kashmir, bettering its best performance till date. It could win 25-33 seats. The Mufti Mohammad Sayeed-led PDP would be the largest party. According to C voter, J and K will have a hung assembly.
In another opinion poll on the mood of the voters in Delhi, the India Today Cicero Group says, Delhi too may go into the BJP kitty after a gap of 18 years. The BJP would win 34-40 seats in the 70 member Delhi assembly. The AAP could win 25-31. The Congress is likely to get between 3 to 5 seats, thus completing its total marginalisation in national capital.
These results are likely to give a boost to the BJP, which is beleaguered by a series of unseemly controversies and a logjam in Rajya Sabha.
