3 Held for using drone camera to record wedding

Hyderabad: Three persons were arrested on Wednesday for using drone camera for capturing visuals at a wedding at Venkateswara Gardens function hall in Ramraj Nagar.

The Pet Basheerabad police said that the usage of drones had been banned in the city and a prior permission is required if anybody wants to use drones. Failing to get the clearance, police have nabbed K Roop Kumar(30) who is a drone camera operator, B Yugandhar(34) his associate and R Krishnakanth Reddy(31) who is the manager of the function hall.

Pet Basheerabad SI Srinath said that on getting information about drone being used at the wedding, they raided at the function hall and arrested the accused.

The trio have been booked under section 188 (disobedience to an order duly promulgated by a public servant) of the IPC. However, they were later released on bail.
