11 people died in separate fatal crashes in AP

Visakhapatnam: Two persons died on the spot after a speeding car knocked them down in the wee hours of Monday, on the national highway near Gokulapadu village under S.Rayavaram mandal in Visakhapatnam.

The victims have been identified as Sairao (20) and Addepalle Apparao (45).

Vijayawada: In yet another similar accident, two persons were killed and one was injured on Monday, when an unidentified vehicle hit them on the NH-9 near the Durga Gudi tollgate in Vijayawada.

Both, Naga Babu and Sambasiva Rao died on the spot, while injured Khalil has rushed to a hospital nearby.

Ananthapur : Four persons died on the spot when a truck hit the car in which they were travelling on Gorantla main road, near Palasamudram in Ananthapur District on Monday morning.

Six others were injured in the accident. They have been admitted to a private hospital in the district.

The victims are residents of Gorantla, who had gone to attend a wedding in Hindupur. They were returning to Gorantla in their car when the accident took place.

Police have taken the truck driver into custody and are interrogating him.

Mahabubnagar : Three people died when a auto collided with a truck near Ninoni Palle of Hanwada mandal in Mahabubnagr district in the wee hours of Monday, reports said.

Two men in the auto died due to the impact, while one person in the truck sustained critical injuries.

The deceased have been identified as Narayanamma (30), Narsamma(40) and Parsayya (28).
