“YSRCP emerged as a strong party in the state and is in first place now,” said, Lok Satta Party President, Jayaprakash Narayan.

The party president also said that 101 years old Congress and 30 years old TDP parties are fighting for the second and third places. The YSR Congress is clearly ahead of others. Guessing games have started between the Congress and the TDP that who will be in opposition if general election comes.

After winning the high stake election in the native state, the YSRCP is in first place in Rayalaseema region and has increased political weight in Telangana region also, he said while talking to media at Amalapuram and Kakinanda. The party further will make a definite headway in Telangana region and it would get good a number of seats as well, he added.

When asked about power crisis in the state he said that the ruling Congress party should be held responsible for the present power crisis

He further added that because of his party agitations, candidates have to disclose their assets and criminal records before participating in the elections.

`Surajya Movement' campaign

Lok Satta Party launched a suraja movement campaign in Andhra Pradesh to promote awareness in one crore people about `ethical politics' and `good governance', to create a corruption- free society.

Film directors , SS Rajamouli and Sirivennela would conduct several competitions to encourage the youth.
