YSRCP demands wage hike for Anganwadi workers

YSRCP MLAs have walked out of the assembly in protest against the attitude of the state government in solving the problems of Anganwadi workers in the state.

Immediately after the start of question hour, the YSRCP members demanded to hike the wages of Anganwadi workers to Rs.10,000 p.m.

Minister Peethala Sunjatha gave a statement on the problems of Anganwadi workers in the state. As the minister did not give a proper reply to the questions of YSRCP members on the same, the YSRCP members walked out of the assembly.

Leader of Opposition Y.S.Jagan Mohan Reddy blamed the state government for not giving a straight reply on the same issue.

The fourth day session of the state assembly started on Friday with question hour.

Minister Sujatha answered the questions of YSRCP MLA Uppuleti Kalpana and others on the problem.

The members asked an explanation on the wages of Anganwadi workers and the buildings for Anganwadi centres in the state.
