YSRCP to stage dharnas on Oct 16 for loan waiver

Leader of the opposition and YSRCP supremo YS Jagan Mohan Reddy said that the party would stage dharnas at all the mandal headquarters on October 16 to mount pressure on the TDP government to implement its poll promise and ensure that fresh loans are given forthwith.

The YSRCP chief is in Anantapur to undertake review exercises of the party affairs in all 14 assembly segments and 2 parliamentary constituencies of the district. He was extended a grand welcome by the local party leaders and activists when he arrived in the town.

Speaking to the media after the review meeting, YS Jagan said that Chandrababu's flip-flops on crop loan waiver, have left countless farmers in the lurch.

“The people of the state have realized that TDP had come to power with fake promises. The people are looking towards us now. We should organise struggles for them,” said YS Jagan earlier in the day.

Alleging that the Chandrababu's government has miserably failed to keep its promise of crop loan waiver, YS Jagan reiterated that why should'nt a 420 case be booked against Chandrababu?. "In fact an '840 case' should be booked against Chandrababu."

Credibility: YSRCP has it, TDP doesn't

Launching a scathing attack against AP CM Chandrababu Naidu, YS Jagan said that he has never lied and never made promises that can never be implemented like Chandrababu Naidu.
YS Jagan, who is on a two-day tour of Anantapur, met several party leaders in Anantapur to take stock of the party's performance in the recent elections. He also discussed with them about the future course of action to further strengthen the party and take forward the agenda of playing the role of a constructive opposition in AP.
YS Jagan has first met leaders of Dharmavaram and Penugonda.
The YSRCP chief said the difference between losing and winning in the elections was just 5 lakh votes. "While we got 1.30 lakh votes, TDP has got 1.35 Lakh votes."
To get power, Chandrababu has promised unimplementable promises and now is it fair to shirk away from implementing those promises?" Jagan asked.
Several media channels had launched extensive campaign in support of Chandrababu. He said Eenadu, Andhra Jyothi and TV 9 had given incessant publicity to the false promises of the TDP, he said.
He said "what Chandrababu lacks is credibility, while credibility and trustworthiness are our forte."
