YSRCP submits no confidence motion notice to LS Speaker

YSR Congress Party, under the guidance of party chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, on Thursday, submitted no confidence motion notice to Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar in New Delhi.

It was submitted by YSRCP Nellore MP Mekapati Rajamohan Reddy.

On Wednesday, six Seemandhra MPs, along with TDP MPs had also moved the motion against the UPA government, over their stubborn stand on state bifurcation. Senior YSRCP leader Mysoora Reddy has also added that the party would extend their support to the motion.

He had pointed out that YSRCP was one of the first parties to have spoken about introducing the motion in the last Parliament session.

As per reports, the GoM on T Bill will reconvene on Thursday 1pm to discuss key issues pertaining to bifurcation, like sharing capital, revenue, division of Bhadrachalam between Seemandhra and Telangana, special packages for Rayalaseema and Coastal Andhra, among others.

Speaking to reporters, Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde said, "It is doubtful if the Bill will reach the Parliament today or not."
