Vijayawada: YSRCP on Saturday came down heavily against TDP's manufactured rage over YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's comments on Chandrababu Naidu during the Nandyal public meeting on Thursday.

YSRCP officials spokesperson Vellampalli Srinivas said the crushing defeat in the Nandyal by-election will herald the downfall of Chandrababu Naidu regime in the state.

Speaking to the media on Saturday, the YSRCP leader alleged that Chandrababu had made 600 promises during the 2014 elections, but grounded not more than six among them. Fearing defeat in Nandyal, the TDP leaders have begun levelling baseless allegations against YS Jagan.

YS Jagan has strictly adhered moral values by admitting TDP leader Silpa Chakrapani Reddy into his party only after the latter relinquished the MLC post. Chandrababu had encouraged defectors from the YSRCP and did not even ask them to seek fresh mandate. It would have been great for Chandrbabu if he asked them to seek fresh mandate before joining the TDP. Vellampalli Srinivas demanded Chandrababu to disqualify all 20 YSR Congress defectors and go for fresh election and fulfill all promises.

Another party leader Jogi Ramesh said that Chandrababu Naidu stood thoroughly exposed. He said while YSRCP chief YS Jagan roared like a lion, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu fled like a jackal in Nandyal.

He said the unnerved TDP leaders were making wild allegations against the YSRCP chief. He dared Chandrababu to practice political morality like YS Jagan and make all the turncoat MLAs seek fresh mandate.
