YSRCP slams Kesavulu for indecent talk

Taking objection to the impertinent remarks of TDP leader Payyavula Kesavulu, YSR Congress has strongly hit back stating that TDP lacks clarity on its stand on State division and Chandrababu Naidu’s dichotomy is in full public view while YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has been very firm on the Samaikyandhra stand.

“Kesavulu speaking in such an indecent language is unbecoming of a leader and it shows the way leaders are groomed in the Party with Chandrababu Naidu himself practicing double standards and encouraging cadre from both sides of the fence with ulterior motives,” party leaders Sobha Nagi Reddy and G Sreekanth Reddy told reporters here on Friday.
Kesavulu using the simile of cheer leaders and attributing it to YSRCP leaders is degradation of political values among the TDP members. It is uncalled for and we condemn it unequivocally.
The TDP leader speaking in a tone that does not suit his stature or the democratic principles and the words he has chosen are foul and foolish, they said. “If the Party says we have taken the idea of filing affidavits seeking a united state from TDP, it is a mirage as we have seen Naidu has been encouraging his cadre to fend from both sides of the fence and we have seen that party leaders holding placards for and against the division of the State.
Our leader YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on the hand has been very explicit on the Party stand that it is for Samaikhyandra. Naidu has never said his stand till now as he wants to gain political mileage from both sides, which is a far cry.
If he is sincere let him lead a delegation to the President Pranab Mukherjee with affidavits seeking a united State,” they challenged the TDP leader.
The main opposition party claiming itself as the most reliable party could be joke of the year as it had electoral tie-ups with the BJP, Left, separatists and interationists as well. Now it is looking towards BJP for political reasons and Naidu is in all praise for Narender Modi, whom he had criticized not very long ago and castigated him for governance, they said.
“As claimed by TDP we are not afraid of TDP-BJP alliance. Naidu changing colours is clearly visible with this opportunist alliance though there are reservations from BJP to join hands with TDP.
Our leader YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will lead a delegation with all MLAs to Rashtrapathi Nilayam to submit affidavits in favour of a united state, can Naidu do it with all his MLAs and MPs, they asked.
Of the six MPs in Parliament the floor leader and Ramesh Rathore did not join the protest against division with their own colleagues as only four MPs rushed to the well of the House in Lok Sabha which was watched by the entire nation, they said.
“TDP has no moral right to criticise as our Party has a leader who has a very clear stand while Chandrababu Naidu has been an opportunist all along, “they said.
On APNGO leader Ashok Babu’s invitation, they said, if both Kiran Kumar Reddy and N Chandrababu Naidu are invited then the issue may be considered but their party will not share platform with leaders who have no clarity on the Samaikhyandhra stand.
