Hyderabad: YSRCP has criticized Chandrababu Naidu for approaching court seeking stay on hearing his case in connection with cash for vote probe.

Vasireddy Padma, official spokesperson at YSRCP, has advised TDP leaders to resign from the posts, if they can’t get the special status. She said: “Chandrababu Naidu is already a convict in people’s court. The Chief Minister can manage to get stay on his cases, but he already lost credibility in the eyes of people.” Vasireddy further said: “BJP-TDP alliance is trying to phase out special status demand. How can TDP MP Sujana Chowdary say that special status may not be a reality.”

Roja, YSRCP MLA from Nagari, has raised a question on whether Chandrababu Naidu should be punished for his involvement in cash for vote case. She also questioned why Achemnaidu and Bonda Umamasheshwara Rao were spared despite his rowdyism in Assembly. Speaking to the media in Eluru, Roja also questioned why can’t Chintamaneni Prabhakar be punished for manhandling MRO Vanajakshi.

Roja said: “Without any fault of mine, I was suspended from Assembly for one year. But AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu is shamelessly asking how can his voice be recorded.”

Congress Party MLC C Ramachandraiah, who’s in YSR district Kadapa, said that Andhra Pradesh was witnessing several consequences after the cash for vote case and Chandrababu Naidu’s involvement in the case.

“Why Chandrababu Naidu not accepting that recorded voice was his. But, he’s asking the court not to hear his case. With corrupt practices, Naidu is putting AP’s interests at stake,” criticized Ramachandraiah.
