YSRCP MPs Protest TDP Comments On YS Jagan
New Delhi: YSRCP MPs protested the statements of TDP MP Galla Jayadev against AP Leader of Opposition YS Jagan Mohan Reddy in the Parliament, on Thursday.
Speaking on the occasion, YSRCP MP Varaprasad Rao said Galla Jayadev made comments on YS Jagan during a debate on the Union Budget. "Opening his speech with comments on YS Jagan is uncalled for. He cannot comment on a person in his absence. Jayadev's allegations that YS Jagan and Congress are in a secret pact are false and malicious," Varaprasad said in the House after obtaining permission from the Speaker to reply to the comments. He also urged the speaker to remove the comments on YS Jagan from the Parliament records.
Continuing his speech, Varaprasad said that the TDP government failed to get special status for AP in the past four years. "Chief minister Chandrababu Naidu failed to convince the Central government on the promises made in the AP Reorganisation Act," he said.
