YSRCP MPs, MLAs, MLCs To Undertake Bus Yatra To Polavaram On Thursday

YSRCP MLAs, MLCs and MPs will take out a bus yatra to the Polavaram project site on Thursday. The yatra will begin from the Andhra Pradesh party headquarters in Vijayawada.

The bus yatra is aimed at exposing the Chandrababu Naidu Government's conspiracy to put the prestigious Polavaram project on the back-burner. Announcing this, YSRCP Ongole MP YV Subba Reddy said the YSRCP will seek to put pressure on the TDP Government to expedite the Polavaram project, which is the lifeline of Andhra Pradesh. He said the present TDP Government was trying to put the project in cold storage. He said that an estimated 70 per cent of the Left and Right Canal work was completed during YSR's reign. He accused the TDP of taking huge kickbacks from contractors. The party would unveil an action plan to launch a massive stir demanding speedy completion of Polavaram project. He said the YSRCP was demanding that the project work be taken up by the Central Government instead of the Telugu Desam Government.
