YSRCP MLA Ijaiah Stopped From Speaking At Event Attended By AP CM

Kurnool: YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) MLA from Nandikotkuru Assembly constituency Isaiah faced embarrassing moments at the inauguration of Muchumarri lift irrigation project in Kurnool district, on Friday.

The inauguration function was presided by chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu. Speaking at the event, Isaiah said that the AP government has inaugurated the same project twice in the past. He wondered why the CM inaugurated the project when the works were still pending. Angered over the remarks, Chandrababu asked the MLA to stop criticizing the government and took away the mike from him. The MLA was restrained from speaking further in the programme. His mike was muted and asked to leave the programme.

The YSRCP MLA said that Chandrababu Naidu insulted him by obstructing him from speaking in the meeting. On earlier occasions too, the MLA was restrained from speaking at public events. Meanwhile, YSRCP leaders and Dalit organisations strongly condemned Chandrababu's arrogant behaviour.
