Chandrababu has duped the farmers in the name of crop loan waiver

Leader of the Opposition in Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly and YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy said Proddatur town is a glaring example of TDP misrule. There has been no development worth the name in the town during the last four years of Chandrababu Naidu’s rule, he said.

Addressing an astoundingly huge public meeting at Puttaparthi Cricle in Proddatur town as part of the Day 5 of the Praja Sankalpa Yatra on Saturday, he said whatever development that Proddatur town saw took place during the regime of late Dr. YS Rajasekhara Reddy. He said a veterinary hospital, Yogi Vemana University and Outer Ring Road were constructed during YSR's rule.

He said Chandrababu Naidu had promised a smart city, a food park, a steel plant and an Urdu university for YSR district. "Not one of these has become a reality," he said. "Chandrababu has duped the farmers in the name of crop loan waiver. He has duped women in the name of DWCRA loan waiver. Even the youth were duped in the name of provision of jobs," YS Jagan pointed out.

He said his yatra was aimed at reassuring the people of the state that every promise that he makes would be fulfilled. He would solve every problem that comes to his notice during the Praja Sankalpa Yatra. He said once he becomes the chief minister of the state, he would ensure that the drinking water problem and the underground drainage issue in the town is solved.

"Wait for just one more year. With your support and by God's grace, YSRCP Government will come to power and all your problems would be solved," he reassured the people.

"My election manifesto would emerge from the common man and would reflect his hopes and aspirations. It will not be like the TDP manifesto, which is prepared in air-conditioned rooms. I assure you that every promise that I make would be implemented in toto," YS Jagan said.
