YSRCP leaders discuss SC verdict fallout

A day after the Supreme Court declined bail to YSR Congress President Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, senior leaders of the party met at the YSRCP office in Hyderabad to discuss the fallout of the bail denial and the future course of action.

The leaders are understood to have deliberated on the roadmap to be drawn for taking the party forward and the need to explain to the people, the designs of the political parties that had hatched a conspiracy against Jagan. The leaders are stated to have discussed in detail as to how to explain to the people the unholy nexus between the parties to defame Jagan in the public mind.

 They also are understood to have decided to seek the advice of legal luminaries on filing a review petition in the Supreme Court on its Friday’s decision to reject bail to Jagan. “We are now weighing the pros and cons of Friday’s verdict,” a party leader said.

Several senior party leaders, including some MLAs attended the meeting. Later, they met YS Vijayamma, the Honorary President of YSRCP and briefed her on the deliberations.
