Y.S.R.Congress Party is dominating all other regional political parties on social networking site, Facebook .

The party, which was formed three years ago, now boasts of 3 lakhs likes on the site.
Telugu Desam Party, which was online for a decade, has only 2.87 lakhs likes, while, Lok Satta party has 1.15 lakh likes.

Coming to the other states, Nationalist Congress Party of Sharad Pawar has only 2.05 lakhs of likes in Facebook.

The figure for Samajwadi Party is 68,000 and Mayawati's BSP has 1,600 likes. The position of other parties like JD (S) and RLD is almost same.

In Tamil Nadu, the DMK has 1,700 likes and AIADMK has 762 likes in Facebook. An interesting thing here is some political parties in other states are not even running their Facebook pages.

YSRCP online community portal, which was intended for those active bloggers, net junkies, also has a huge following. All kinds of information about the party, its schemes, vision, programs of its president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, among other information is uploaded.

About 5,000 registered members are there for the site.

YSRCP also topped the list of those parties using Whatsapp. The IT wing of the party has formed some hundreds of broadcast groups, and share political cartoons, satires, post and videos.

Many videos, prepared by the same wing of the party, are now available in You Tube.

YS Jagan also stood at the top in Google search results too. The number of search results for the name ‘Y.S.Jagan Mohan Reddy’ are 5,14,000. The figure is 2,79,000 for Chandrababu Naidu and 1,07,000 for Kiran Kumar Reddy.

At national level, AAP is at top in the kind of media. But, it can’t be considered as a regional party anymore.
