Hyderabad: YSRCP has demanded the resignation of Chandrababu Naidu for his involvement in ‘Cash for Vote’ scam. YSRCP MLA Srikanth Reddy and MLC Pilli Subhashchandra Bose spoke to the media here on Tuesday. They said Naidu lost eligibility to continue as Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh as he was caught red handed in the cash for vote case. Naidu already lost credibility over his fake poll promises, they said.

“We raise a question that why Chandrababu Naidu is not saying that the recorded voice was not his. Generally, whoever gets into a major controversy they resign and prove their innocence. But Naidu is not doing that. Since his involvement in Vote for Cash case, Naidu has lost eligibility to continue as CM of the state,” they said.

YSRCP has also advised the TDP government to hold Assembly session for 10 to 15 days. “Naidu has turned out Assembly session into an event management. We suggest the Chief Minister not to conclude the session just discussing PV Sindhu and Mother Theresa,” said Srikanth Reddy.

Further adding, Subhashchandra Bose said: “We demand elaborate discussions on problems in the state. The government should give sufficient time for discussions on special status, Swiss Challenge, drought, corruption and other problems.”
