YSRCP Challenges TDP To Conduct Elections Immediately

Hyderabad: YSR Congress Party MLA RK Roja has severely criticised Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu for hosting the Happy City Summit in Amaravati while the state was concerned and angered over the Special Category Status (SCS) to AP. Countering the statement of AP CM that 71 per cent of the people were happy with TDP government's schemes, Roja challenged, "if that was the case why don't you conduct elections immediately."

Talking to the media here today, YSRCP MLA questioned in which aspect were the people satisfied about Chandrababu's rule. "What has the TDP chief done for the people over the four years?" She mentioned that during any CM's rule people would praise the government, whereas under the present TDP rule, the CM himself praises. If people were really happy about his rule, why doesn't he conduct the elections immediately, she questioned and asked was TDP ready to go for elections.

Roja called upon the people to reject the TDP MPs who failed to join hands with YSRCP MPs in resigning and taking up indefinite hunger strike in New Delhi for achieving SCS to AP. She accused the TDP government was totally corrupt and was evident by the fact that in the last four years they haven't built a permanent structure for state capital. She went on to criticise AP CM's son and state minister Nara Lokesh of being a useless person. It was happy to note that Pawan Kalyan made an effort to walk at least two kilometers for the sake of SCS, she added.
