Kurnool: AP Leader of Opposition and YSR Congress Party president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's PrajaSankalpaYatra entered Kurnool district on the 8th day of the program on Tuesday. After a night halt at a dhaba on the border of YSR-Kurnool district, YS Jagan resumed the Yatra to an astounding welcome by party workers and people in general at Chagalamarri. He was welcomed into the district with a Purna Kumbham and thousands gathered to have a glance at the leader who has been reviving their hopes ever since the Yatra began on November 6 at Idupulapaya in YSR district. He covered 93.8km in the district in seven days.

Reiterating his commitment to the welfare and development of BC communities, YS Jagan on Monday declared that the party will organize BC Garjana after the completion of his Yatra. Addressing a gathering towards the end of 7th day Yatra, YS Jagan said BCs form the foundation of the state and their development is crucial for the state's all-round growth. "After NTR and YSR, it's YS Jagan Mohan Reddy who is truly committed to the welfare and development of BCs," he said.

The Yatra will proceed through Mutyalapadu and Godiganoor where YS Jagan will unfurl a party flat before halting for lunch break at Mutyalapadu bus stand. The 8th day Yatra will culminate at Chakravartulapally in Allagadda constituency this evening.
