Nellore: YSR Congress Party chief and opposition leader of Andhra Pradesh State Assembly, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will undertake a tour of Nellore district from August 1 to 3, said the party’s district president Kakani Govardhan Reddy and party’s State General Secretary Talasila Raghuram at a press meet here on Thursday.

Speaking to the newsmen, the party leaders said the YSRCP chief will have constituency-wise review meetings from 11:00 am on August 1 and 2 at Kasturi Anil Gardens and conduct “Yuva Bheri” program at Kasturi Gardens on August 3 in Nellore. The leaders urged the partymen and public to turn out for the programs in large numbers.

The meeting, which was also attended by local MLA Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy and Mellore Corporation Floot Leader Roop Kumar, lambasted the ruling TDP and its ally BJP for their indifference to the ‘Special Status to AP’. The opposition leader YS Jagan Mohan Reddy had been fighting for the same since the state was bifurcated, they reiterated.

Giddi Eshwari appointed observer of Araku Lok Sabha constituency

YSRCP head YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has appointed Giddi Eshwari- Paderu MLA of Visakhapatnam district as party’s observer of Araku Lok Sabha constituency on Thursday, a statement from party’s head quarters read in this regard.
