YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Saturday met Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley and appraised him of the aftermath of Hudhud cyclone in North Coastal Andhra.
Speaking after meeting the Union Finance Minsiter, YS Jagan said the minister heard his patiently and assured to ensure that justice is done to the North Coastal Andhra in extending relief and rehabilitation of the Hudhud victims.
YS Jagan said the state government of Andhra Pradesh had completely failed in extending relief to the cyclone victims. He said he has exposed the inadequacies in extending relief in several interior villages.
He said no other issues, including the special status to the state, were not discussed. Party MPs YV Subba Reddy, Butta Renuka and others accompanied YS Jagan.
