YS Jagan Mohan Reddy consoles farmers in Rythu Bharosa Yatra

YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has consoled family of a farmer Manjula Chalapathy, who committed suicide owing to debt burden.

Kadapa: YSRCP President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Thursday toured in Pulivendula constituency in YSR district as part of Rythu Bharosa Yatra. YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has consoled family of a farmer Manjula Chalapathy, who committed suicide owing to debt burden. YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has extended his support to the beleaguered family. Lambasting Chandrababu Naidu for failing to fulfill his poll promises including loan waiver which enabled him to capture power in the State, Reddy termed it as a great betrayal to the farming community.

YS Jagan Mohan Reddy further stated that no crop insurance or input subsidy was given to the farmers. The Central government had given Rs 4,500 crore as special fund for farmers for creation of work, but TDP government has diverted these funds to other schemes.

YS Jagan Mohan Reddy examined peanut fields in Pulivendula. Reddy spoke to the farmers in Inagaluru village of Tonduru mandal in YSR district. Later he spoke to the district collector over the phone and asked him to take measures for distributing good quality seeds to the farmers.

He condemned the distribution of dull quality of seeds to the farmers.

YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Friday will participate in the birth anniversary celebrations of Dr YS Rajasekhar Reddy, former Chief Minister of united AP, along with his family. Then he will commence the Gadapagadapaku YSR Congress programme in Idupulapaya.
