Prakasam: Guruva Reddy walked all the way from Uppalapadu to beyond a point near Chimakurthi. He said that he had reached Uppalapadu in Markapuram constituency after setting out from Nakaram village in Darsi constituency to which he belongs. He wanted to catch a moment with YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on the momentous occasion, the day 100 of Praja Sankalpa Yatra, the YSR Congress Party Chief's historic walkathon.

Guruva Reddy said that traditionally he and other fellow villagers of Nakaram were voters of YSRCP. He said that regardless of the outcome in the elections, he and many others were die-hard supporters of the late Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy and now his son. He predicted that Praja Sankalpa Yatra would change the course of politics in the next few months.

Prabhudas and Balaraj were volunteers on the padayatra and had been distributing butter milk and water right through the day. Both these young men said that YS Jagan is the man of the moment for Andhra Pradesh. They said his leadership would give a direction to the state at a time when bifurcation has damaged the state badly in economic terms. They were certain that YS Jagan would remain true to his words.
