New Delhi: YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy along with a delegation of party leaders met president Pranab Mukherjee on Thursday to highlight the unethical practice of making defectors ministers without their resigning the post they got from their mother party. He submitted a memorandum to the President demanding action against the TDP government for providing Cabinet berths to four turncoat YSRCP MLAs.

He said giving ministries to YSRCP turncoats even through defection cases are still pending against them. He said if this was allowed, them democratic values would be imperilled. He said the TDP was deeply corrupt and that it was using the corrupt money to buy off MLAs. This has been proved in the case of Cash For Vote scam, he said. He said he would meet all those who can influence the ruling BJP at the centre and try to convince them about the unethical practices of the TDP Government.

Party MPs Mekapati Rajamohan Reddy, Vijaya Sai Reddy, Vara Prasad, YS Avinash Reddy and MLA Raghupati accompanied YS Jagan.
