YS Jagan Expresses Solidarity with Contract Lecturers

Hyderabad: YSR Congress Party President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy expressed solidarity with contract lecturers of government colleges in Andhra Pradesh and assured them that he would participate in the 'Chalo Vijayawada' programme on February 25.

Addressing a delegation of contract lecturers here on Friday, he said the state government is unconcerned about the plight of contract lecturers and has not taken any measures to regularise their services. He promised to raise the issue in the Assembly. YSRCP leaders Jyothula Nehru, Kodali Nani and Vangaveeti Radhakrishna will also participate in the dharna programme, YS Jagan said.
Government Contract Lecturers Association general secretary BJ Gandhi and other submitted a memorandum to YS Jagan in this regard.
