YS Jagan consoles Kapu leader's kin

Leader of the Opposition and YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Tuesday consoled the grief-stricken family members of founder of Kapunadu and former Chairman of the Andhra Pradesh Mining Development Corporation and Handicrafts Development Corporation, Miryala Venkata Rao, who breathed his last on Sunday afternoon.

YS Jagan was accompanied by party general secretary Ummareddy Venkateswarlu. Venkata Rao is survived by wife Prameela, daughter Swathi and son, Seshagiri Babu.
The YSRCP chief conveyed his sympathies to the family members of the Kapunadu leader. He recalled Venkata Rao's endeavours in getting political recognition for the ‘Kapu’ community.
Earlier in the day, YS Jagan had said that Venkata Rao death was a great loss for both Telugu speaking people in both states in general and Kapus in particular.
