YS Jagan Casts His Vote To Elect 14th President

Leader of the Opposition In AP Assembly YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Monday casts his vote at Assembly Committee Hall here in the capital city to elect the country’s 14th President.

Amaravati: YSRCP President and Leader of the Opposition In AP Assembly YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Monday cast his vote here in the capital city to elect the country's 14th President. YS Jagan, who entered the premises of the AP Assembly Committee Hall along with the party MLAs, cast his vote within a few minutes. Later, YS Jagan got back to his chamber and reviewed the Presidential polling trends.

It may be recalled that YS Jagan had already extended his full support to the NDA's President candidate Ram Nath Kovind.

Earlier during the day, YS Jagan received a rousing welcome from the party leaders when he arrived at Gannavaram airport from Hyderabad. He then straight away held a meeting at the State Guest House with the party MLAs to discuss about the precautions that were to be taken during the polling. Later, YS Jagan and the MLAs reached the Assembly by bus to take part in the voting.

In Delhi, YSRCP MPs — Vijay Sai Reddy, YV Subba Reddy, Mekapati Rajamohan Reddy, YS Avinash Reddy, Butta Renuka, Velagapalli Varaprasad Rao, PV Mithun Reddy cast their votes. Earlier, all the YSRCP MPs attended the YSRCP Parliamentary party meeting at Mekapati Rajamohan Reddy's residence in the city and discussed over the measures that were to be taken during the polling. Later, all the MPs straight away drove to the Parliament to take part in the voting.
