YS Jagan arrested at Parliament St in Delhi

YSR Congress Party President Y.S.Jagan Mohan Reddy was arrested by Delhi police this evening.

Kadapa MP was arrested by the police at Parliament Street when he and his followers were moving from Jantar Mantar to Parliament.

He is presently lodged at the office of Additional DCP in New Delhi and will soon be shifted to Parliament street police station.

They were raising slogans against the UPA government and AICC chief Sonia Gandhi.
The situation in the area is said to be tense.

Jagan termed his arrest as improper. He said that he would move the court against the same tomorrow.

The protestors are moving towards the Parliament street.

“We are protesting in a peaceful manner. Protesting is the basic right of any person in a democracy. Then, how can they arrest us”, asked Jagan.
