Soon-To-Be Father Dies In Road Accident
Paloncha: A soon-to-be father met a tragic end when his two-wheeler was hit by a truck near Ambedkar center here on Friday.
The deceased was identified as Revanth Kumar (27), a resident of Bapuji Nagar. His wife was said to be six months pregnant. She swooned and collapsed when she was informed of Revanth's death. According to local residents, Revanth was an ardent devotee of Lord Hanuman and it was his habit to visit the local temple every morning. At 7:30 am on Friday, he went to the temple as was his habit. Later, at 8:20 am, he was proceeding from Ambedkar Centre to KSP road when a speeding truck hit his two-wheeler from behind. In the resultant jolt, Revanth fell off his vehicle and the truck ran over him killing him on the spot. His father, Bukya Shankar who reached the site of the accident was inconsolable at the sight of his dead son.
The body was shifted for post-mortem.
