Woman sub-inspector Swathi Chauhan commits suicide at NISA quarters in Jawahar nagar, Secunderabad

Hyderabad: A woman sub-inspector committed suicide at National Industrial Security Academy quarters on Tuesday. 23-year-old Swathi Chauhan, who is working as a sub-inspector with the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) unit at the Pune airport, has come to NISA to meet a relative Neelima SIngh, who is also a sub-inspector in Hyderabad.

She came to Hyderabad on Friday to meet Neelima. On Tuesday, Neelima went to work, leaving Swathi alone in the quarters. After she returned from work, she found Swathi hanging to the ceiling in Jawaharnagar, Secunderabad.

Police suspects that she was suffering from depression and has come to Hyderabad to get out of it. Meanwhile, they did not find any suicide note in the room. A case of suspicious death has been registered and the investigation is on.
