Woman Shooter Fires At Mother, Brother
A fully-drunk state-level shooter opened fire on her 75-year-old mother and brother in South Delhi on Friday. The condition of both the injured is stated to be out of danger. The shooter, a woman aged 47, had been overpowered and taken into custody.
The Police said the incident occurred in a house in C-block past midnight at 12.30 a.m. when the accused, Sangeeta Singh came out drunk from her room and opened fire on her 75-year-old mother Geeta and brother Harsaran, in his 40s. Sangeeta was apprehended from the spot and her licensed revolver recovered. She is under medical examination.
Harsaran sustained bullet injury in his leg while Geeta in her chest and abdomen. They are admitted in AIIMS trauma centre and are reportedly out of danger
Sangeeta is a shooter and has participated in state-level events. She also runs an adventure tourism agency at Sohna Road, Gurugram. But of late, she has been under medication for depression. The police said that there was an ongoing property dispute with her mother and aunt.
