Woman Poisons Husband After Marrying Him On Parents’ Pressure

Bengaluru: A 25-year-old woman killed her husband by allegedly giving poison tablets and injection after she got married with him on her parents' pressure.

The accused Asha, was married to Vishwanath(28), a resident of Banshankari in Bengaluru on February 16. After going to her in-laws home, they asked her to do agriculture work. She refused to do work and went to her maternal home.

Then Asha decided to kill her husband. On March 24, she accompanied her husband to a friend's birthday party and she allegedly gave poison tablets and injection to him without his knowledge and left him in Hasan Maharaj park. She went to her in-laws home and pretended that she was not aware of her husband.

Meanwhile, Vishwanath, who came into consciousness, reached home and informed his parents about the issue. Seeing his son's condition parents' shifted him to a government hospital where doctors stated his condition was critical and he died while being shifted to Mysore.

Police registered a case and probe is on.
