Woman kills mother for asking her to go to work

Chennai: Enraged by her mother's advice to do a job, a 26-year-old girl stabbed her mother with a scissor and killed her. The incident occurred in Pallavaram in Anakaputhur in Tamil Nadu.

Vanaja(58), a tailor, was finding it difficult to make both the ends meet. Her daughter Gayatri (26) is a graduate and used to work in a private company. However, Gayatri stopped reporting to work for the last six months. Finding her sitting idle at home, Vanaja asked her to go to the office. However, Gayatri continued to dodge saying he would soon get a job in Bangalore.

But, her mother insisted her to work at hometown. Following this, heated argument ensued between the mother and the daughter and in a fit of rage, Gayatri stabbed her mother with a scissors.

Vanaja died while being rushed to the hospital.Police have registered the case and are investigating into the matter.
