With an eye on election, KCR woos 'settlers'

With GHMC elections round the corner, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao showered his love on the settlers in Hyderabad.

" There are no settlers in Hyderabad. Everyone is a son of Telangana. My government does not discriminate based on region," said KCR at his camp office on Thursday. 

He said that his government has announced a state funeral to movie moghul Rama Naidu as they do not discriminate on the basis of region.
Several leaders from Kukatpally, which has a large number of people from Andhra Pradesh, joined the TRS in the presence of KCR.
Admitting them into the party, KCR went onto shower his love on them. He said " There are no settlers in Hyderabad. Your ancestors came and settled here. They had adopted Telangana culture. All the people settled in Hyderabad are Hyderabadis, " he said.
The CM also said "We will hold an interactive meeting with citizens of capital to discuss infrastructural deficiencies."
KCR went ahead and said even he is not from Hyderabad. " My native is Siddipet in Medak district. But my grand child says he is from Hyderabad," he quipped.
