Vijayawada: "Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and his partymen have alleged that I have business relations with Orange Travels, will the CM resign if he fails to prove his allegations," YSRCP President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy said.

Addressing the media during a break in Monday's assembly session, YS Jagan strongly condemned the TDP statements and said the ruling party has made it a habit to blame the YSRCP for the government's misdeeds. Recalling the assault on Vijayawada Transport Commissioner Balasubramanyam, he said the Chief Minister is resorting to 'settlements' and high handedness to get their way. "The Transport Commissioner's gunman was shoved and pushed, was an apology tendered to the gunman," he asked. The YSRCP chief illustrated the attack on tehsildar Vanajakshi by TDP leader Chintamaneni Prabhakar a few months ago. "In the assault case too, the CM resorted to settlement between the TDP men and the victim," YS Jagan said and questioned the TDP attitude of not letting the law take its own course.

"Similarly, today YSRCP MLA Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy was targetted for arrest for questioning the high-handedness of the TDP leaders. Why doesn't the assembly speaker intervene which is the practise as per law when dealing with an elected representative? Instead what we witness is a settlement by the chief minister himself," YS Jagan pointed out.
