Will Pad Man Break Toilet Ek Prem Katha Collections?

Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar's forthcoming flick Pad Man is finally set to see the light of the day. Earlier, it was supposed to release on Republic Day. But, the makers have postponed the film to avoid a clash with Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmaavat.

Bollywood celebrities have already given widespread publicity to Pad Man on social media sites in various ways. The Bollywood flick is one of the most awaited films of 2018. For the first time, an Indian film will highlight the importance of female personal hygeine while stressing on removing the taboo associated with menstruation.

Last year too, Akshay did a social theme movie titledToilet Ek Prem Katha based on Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Swachh Bharat Mission. It went on to become one of the blockbusters in his career. Now trade analysts busy placing bets on Pad Man breaking the collections of Toilet Ek Prem Katha, which had raked in around 133.60 cr at the box office. Going by the interest the film has generated, the film in all probability will not only break old records but also set new records. The posters, trailers and teaser of the movie has already piques the curiosity of the viewers.

Helmed by R. Balki, Pad Man is produced by Akshay Kumar's author wife Twinkle Khanna. Apart from Akshay, Pad Man also stars Sonam Kapoor and Radhika Apte in the lead roles.
